About Dov
Dov is a NYC based artist, photographer, sculptor, educator; Japanese rope bondage and single tail whip fanatic. He has been in the NYC scene since 1993, served 4 years on the Eulenspiegel Society (TES) board. He has helped start and run Shibaricon. His work varies from installations to performance art. Most recently his work was featured at Diesel Denim Gallery in SoHo NYC, where he created a Shibari rope window to highlight a photo series of their jeans by Japanese erotic photographer Araki.
As an international educator, he has given numerous presentations and classes on everything from rope bondage to canes and whips at TES, Black Rose (DC), Shibaricon, The Floating World, Bound In Boston, Leather Leadership Conference 7 (Boston), Leather Retreat, The Tannery (Philly), Passional (Phily), Purple Passion, Silk (Bard College), Conversio Virium (Columbia), WHAP (NYU), Montreal Fetish Weekend and many other events.

Nov. 12 (Full Day)
10am – 5:30pm
Morning: Rope bondage: Floorwork (3hrs)
How to have fun on the ground or in bed with rope
This hands on class focuses on how to restrain and manipulate your partner with rope. Before you get fancy you need to work on your basics. We will be focusing on how to restrain and manipulate your partner with rope in fun and creative ways. Knowing how to tie consistently and confidently makes for a richer and more expressive rope experience. We will be exploring various basic structures to restrain your partner comfortably and securely. We will also discuss how to visualize and create the ties you want
Class materials
- minimum 6 ropes (More rope is always good)
- Preferred Diameter 6mm
Lunch & rest break (90mins)
Afternoon: Rope bondage: Foiling the escape artist (3hrs)
Preventing or delaying escape from rope bondage
This is a hands on workshop exploring various aspects of dealing with escape artist rope bottoms, and why just because you can tie a rope harness doesnt mean no one can escape it. We will be examining and working with various ties and strategies to understand how and why there are or aren’t effective and how to make your work more escape proof.
Nov. 13 (Half Day)
10am – 2pm
Knives & Pointy Things Workshop (90mins)
Knives and other sharp objects elicit a primitive and visceral reaction in people ranging from fear to adoration. They can be used to cut, scratch, prod, manipulate, mindfuck or any combination you can think of. This is a class on how to work safely and understand sharp objects and how they can be used in a scene.
Short Break (30-60mins)
Fun & Pain with Canes (90mins)
Canes are one of the most classic and iconic SM toys, simple to to learn and years to master with incredible range of nuance and depth.If you need to pick up all the basics on techniques, materials and styles, this is the class to go to. We will be covering how to use your canes in a sensual safe and productive way as well as downright mean and vicious.
Nov. 19 (Full Day)
10am – 5pm
Flogging (2hrs)
The Art of Flogging and How to Hit Hard
The flogger is so commonplace in the scene everyone has at least one kind or another. But not many people know how to use it as effectively as they should. Join us as we discuss and demonstrate different styles, techniques, and strokes.

Mindfucks (90 mins)
Let them do the work for you
Sit back and watch as that little self reinforcing voice in the back of your bottoms/subject/victims head spins and spins building a teetering tower on top of whatever small mind worm you inserted in their head. A Mindfuck is any situation that creates a disorienting note of uncertainty in your subjects mind or plays on any fears real or imagined or both that you can elicit through any physical or mental means, The goal is to create an altered reality for the subject in which they are their own worst enemy.
This is a discussion demo of various strategies and scenarios that can produce hours and days and even months of fun and terror.
Break (30mins)
Rough body play (90mins)
Having fun and playing with hands on, punching, wrestling, pressure points Boot kicking and general manhandling your bottom into submission. How to do it safely for both the top and bottom.
Nov. 20 (Half Day)
10am – 12/1pm
Fireplay (2-3 hours)
The erotic sensuality of fire, the liquid way it travels over the curves of the body and heats the skin the shear excitement of playing with fire.
This class is about how to utilize fire in a scene in a safe and effective manner the proper tools and how to make them.

Full day (6hrs of class): HK$550
Half day (2-3hrs of class) or One 3hr class: HK$300
One 90mins or 2hr class: $200

Demo bottoms
We are in urgent need of demo bottoms for the following classes: both rope bondage classes, flogging, mindfucks and rough body play.
We will not be able to run the classes without demo bottoms. This is a really good opportunity to bottom to a professional, for free, plus you will be able to get into the other classes at a discount.
